New team member

The Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery is pleased to announce that Dr Stéphanie Etter will be joining our team from January 2024.

Stéphanie Etter was born in Basel, speaks German and French as her mother tongue and is fluent in English. In addition to her work at our clinic, she is a senior physician at the University Hospital Basel in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

After passing her state examination at the University of Basel in 2009, she completed her doctorate in human medicine. She then worked in general and visceral surgery at the Gross-Umstadt District Hospital in Germany.

In 2014, she took up a postgraduate training position in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Ethianum in Heidelberg.

In 2017, she moved to the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Basel. She has been working there as a senior consultant since obtaining her specialist title in December 2020.

Dr Etter is particularly interested in aesthetic breast surgery, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, skin tumour surgery and body contouring surgery (after weight loss or pregnancy).

In her private life, Stéphanie is the mother of a son and dedicates her free time to horse jumping.
