Over time, excess skin and/or fatty tissue can develop on the thighs. The inner thighs are very often affected. Sometimes an improvement can be achieved with targeted training. However, the thighs are often a stubborn area and the process is frustrating for those affected. This is where a thigh lift, which is often combined with liposuction on the inner thighs, can help. The aim of the operation is to remove excess skin and, if necessary, to reduce the circumference of the thighs by means of liposuction.

Consultation
During an initial consultation at the Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery, we determine whether liposuction alone, a thigh lift alone or a combined operation is the best option. A precise treatment plan can then be drawn up together to achieve a beautiful result that fulfils your wishes. If you decide in favour of surgery, a further consultation will follow to discuss any questions you may have and to plan the procedure.

Intervention
Depending on the extent, the procedure is performed under local anaesthetic with a twilight sedation or under general anaesthetic. The length of the scar depends on the extent of the excess skin, but usually runs along the entire inner side of the thigh.
