The nose is one of the most important parts of the face. A harmonious nose is part of a beautiful face. If you suffer from a humped nose, a nose that is too long or a crooked nose, a nose job can help to correct this. There are also non-invasive options, e.g. with hyaluronic acid fillers, to perform minor corrections without surgery.
-
Suitability
The procedure is suitable for people who are unhappy with the appearance of their nose. Being in good overall health is advantageous. Certain medications, such as blood thinners, must be discontinued prior to the procedure.
-
Consultation
During your initial consultation at the Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery, we will discuss in detail what you don’t like about your nose. We will discuss the various non-invasive and surgical treatment options. This allows us to work together to develop a precise treatment plan to achieve a beautiful result that meets your expectations. If you decide to proceed with surgery, we will schedule a follow-up consultation to address any questions you may have and plan the procedure.
-
Intervention
Whether a non-invasive correction with filler is an option is evaluated together during the consultation.
Rhinoplasty surgery is usually performed on an outpatient basis under anaesthesia or local anaesthesia with twilight sleep. You will be admitted to the clinic on the day of the operation. At the end of the procedure, the nasal passages are tamponaded and a nasal plaster cast is applied. After the operation, cold compresses are applied to prevent swelling and blue discolouration of the eye and cheek area as far as possible. A few hours after the operation, you will be able to leave the clinic accompanied by an escort.
-
Aftercare
The tampons are removed 24 hours after the operation. The plaster is removed 10 days after the rhinoplasty. You can return to work 10 to 14 days after the treatment. You can resume sports activities approx. 4 to 6 weeks after the nose operation.
