With age, the eyebrows and/or forehead can start to sag. Lifting the eyebrows and/or forehead can restore an alert look. There are various minimally invasive and surgical options for lifting the eyebrows and/or forehead.
-
Suitability
The procedure is suitable for people with low eyebrows. A good general condition is an advantage. Certain medications such as blood thinners must be discontinued before the procedure.
-
Consultation
During an initial consultation at the Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery, we will discuss in detail what you no longer like about your eyebrows or forehead. We will discuss the various non-surgical and surgical treatment options. Together, we can work out a precise treatment plan to achieve a beautiful result that meets your wishes. If you decide in favour of surgery, a further consultation will follow to discuss any questions you may have and to plan the procedure.
-
Intervention
Eyebrows can be lifted using various methods. A thread lift is available as a minimally invasive option. Surgical options include a direct eyebrow lift, a temporal lift with an incision in the hairy temple area or a forehead lift. The appropriate technique will be discussed during the consultation.

Aftercare
After a minimally invasive eyebrow lift using stitches, you can leave the clinic immediately after the procedure. After a surgical eyebrow or forehead lift, you will recover in our clinic but can leave on the same day as the procedure.
Depending on the procedure, the stitches may need to be removed in our clinic after the wound has healed (approx. one week later).
