Peeling

An improvement in skin quality can be achieved with peelings through skin regeneration and collagen stimulation.

Our skin is constantly exposed to environmental influences. As a result, it can show signs of ageing such as pigmentation changes or wrinkles over time. A peel removes the upper layers of the skin (or deeper, depending on the peel), which leads to skin regeneration and collagen stimulation.

There are different types of peelings, from superficial fruit acid or glycolic acid peelings to deep phenol-croton oil peelings.

  • Suitability

People who want to improve their skin in terms of pigmentation, wrinkles or collagen stimulation. Depending on your treatment requirements, we offer superficial, medium or deep peelings.

  • Consultation

During a consultation, we will discuss your wishes and the possible options together. In this way, a precise treatment plan can be drawn up to achieve a result that fulfils your wishes.

  • Treatment

Depending on the depth of the peel, the treatment can be carried out with or without surface anaesthetic cream. For deep peelings, a local anaesthetic and a short twilight sleep are required.

  • Aftercare

The aftercare depends on the depth of the peeling performed. Appropriate skin care is of great importance for all peelings.

With superficial peelings, slight reddening of the skin is to be expected. With medium-depth peelings, more severe reddening and a peeling effect on the skin can be expected. Social life is somewhat restricted for a few days. With deep phenol-croton oil peeling, severe reddening with peeling and crust formation is to be expected. Social life is more restricted for about 10 days.
